Regenerated Cotton Cardigan Carla

The Carla lightweight cardigan is made from regenerated cotton knit combined with organic cotton. The regenerated part comes from waste selected by color, eliminating the need for new dyeing.

A new combination, a jersey fabric composed of 50% recycled cotton derived from industrial surpluses and the remaining 50% from organic virgin cotton.

Organic cotton is obtained from non-intensive cultivation, which does not degrade the soil and therefore requires much less water. Overall, this material, combined with regenerated cotton, allows you to save considerable water resources and materials, also thanks to the color selection of waste which avoids the need for a new dye.

Composition:

• This garment is made with a certified yarn regenerated by rag-pickers in Prato. A tradition of the Prato district that is more than 100 years old.

Care and Washing

• To keep this regenerated garment at its best, wash it at 30 degrees using the delicates program if you opt for the washing machine. If you prefer, wash it by hand.

  If you choose to wash it manually, spin it briefly to eliminate excess water and dry it naturally by spreading it on a horizontal surface. Please note that this type of yarn may stretch slightly due to water weight.
